The Grange Self Catering Cottage Port Ellen

Our Self Catering Cottage is situated in the village of Port Ellen at the rear of The Grange. It is a very private peaceful location with wonderful views over Port Ellen towards the Mull of Oa and the rolling hills at the back of the Village. We are well situated in Port Ellen, within easy walking distance for all Local Amenities and only 100 yards from the new pathway to our 3 local Distilleries, Laphroaig, Lagavulin and Ardbeg.

Our Cottage is finished to the highest of standards and has delighted all who have stayed.


Completed to the highest of standard, the accommodation comprises of:

  • 2 Bedrooms, 1 Twin & I Double

  • Initial suppy of fuel for stove
  • Bed Linen and Towels provided (not Beach Towels)
  • Travel Cot Available
  • Private Car Parking

The upper floor has an open plan fully fitted Kitchen/Dining and Living area. Fully fitted Kitchen includes: washing machine, fridge,oven, hob, toaster, grill etc. Ideally suited for 2 couples, 4 Adults or small families. Bed linen and towels are provided.

  • 3 night stay possible from 450, excludes weekends. Please email your request.
  • Deposit of 100 payable at time of booking by Paypal or Bank Transfer in GBP
  • Remaining balance due 4 weeks before arrival or on arrival by arrangement.

Terms and Conditions

The cottage will normally be available from 4pm. Departure time by 10am. Variations may apply.

If you require to cancel a reservation with us for any reason we would ask that you notify us immediately. In the event of a cancellation within 4 weeks of your booked dates we will make all reasonable effort to re-let the property, however, if we are unable to re-let the property the following terms will apply:
Deposit non-refundable.
Less than 4 weeks before arrival date 50% of the balance will be required.
Adverse weather disruptions: no refunds issued due to late or non-arrival of clients.
For your peace of mind Holiday Insurance is recommended.

The property should be left clean and tidy on departure and we request that any damage/breakages be reported prior to departure (or a clearly written note left visible) in order that these can be rectified for our next incoming guests. In the unlikely event that the property is left in an inappropriate manner, an additional cleaning surcharge may be incurred. In certain circumstances damages will be charged in full.
